Fluidised Bed Furnaces

Fluidised Bed Furnaces

ALS Technologies designs and manufactures a range of fluidised bed furnaces for metals heat treatment.

Fluidised bed furnaces operate by making a bed of particles behave as if they are liquid or “fluid”. The gases used to fluidise the bed also provide the furnace atmosphere. The fluidised bed furnace is heated, and parts are placed in the bed to be heat treated.

Our experience includes all aspects of fluidised bed furnace technology including design, manufacture, installation, commissioning, refurbishment, spare parts & service and technical advice. Our fluidised bed furnace technology includes the technical knowledge from other furnace companies including Stein Atkinson Stordy Australia, Quality Heat Technologies and Applied Heat Technologies.
